Stop At: Mount Athos The Holy Mountain, Mount Athos Greece
Drive through the plain of Chalcidice to the easternmost of the three peninsulas which jut into the Aegean Sea in northern Greece and arrive to Ouranoupolis. From there a speed boat/ferry boat will take you to visit the Holy Monasteries of: Xenophontos and Docheiariou.
