What to Expect When Visiting Spata, Attica, Greece

Itinerary
Day 1: Arraival to Athens
Stop At: Athens, Athens, Attica
After our arrival in the mythical city of Athens, the transfer to our hotel will be made by one of our private vehicles, where a Spanish-speaking assistant will be waiting for us to help us with our registration, inform us of all the details of the trip, clear any type of doubt or query that we have and give us a brief presentation of the city and its day to day.
The rest of the day will be to relax, and if we wish, enjoy Athens at our own pace.

Day 2: Athens – Parliament – Ilion Palace – Temple of Zeus – Hadrian’s Gate – Free afternoon
Stop At: Temple of Zeus Phratrios and Athena Phratria, West Street, immediately to the north of the Temple of Apollo Patroos, Athens Greece
After breakfast and at the time indicated by your guide, you will start the panoramic tour of the Neoclassical center of Athens: The Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, University, Library and National Academy, Ilion Palace, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Gate, Panathinaikó Stadium and many other monuments and places of interest that our local English speaking guide will give you historical and actual details.
After the panoramic tour, you visit the “sacred rock”, the unique and magnificent Acropolis with our guide.
As an extra you can add the entrance fee to visit the Acropolis Museum (not included) to visit it at your own pace and return to the Hotel on your own.

After the tour the bus will take you back to the Hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, also included, you can enjoy a night walking tour through the most captivating areas of Athens, such as Anafiotika, Tiseo, Monastiraki and Plaka.
November to March the city tour in Athens is replaced by a tourist bus ticket (hop on hop off) valid for 48 hours.

Day 3: Athens – Piraeus Pier – Ferry to Naxos.
Stop At: Athens, Athens, Attica
After breakfast you will be picked up in a vehicle to take you to the port of Piraeus harbor. From there you will board a ferry across the Aegean Sea (approximately 5 hours) to the island of Naxos.
Upon arrival at the island, one of our representatives will be waiting for you to transfer you to our hotel and briefly explain a little more about the island.

The rest of the day is free for you to start enjoying and living the relaxed life of the friendly islanders, we recommend touring Chora, the capital of the island and watching the sunset at the spectacular Portará, which was the gateway to the temple of Apollo.

Day 4: Naxos- Free day to explore the island.
Stop At: Naxos, Naxos, Cyclades, South Aegean
After breakfast, you have the day free to explore the largest island of the Cyclades at your own pace. We recommend visiting the ancient temple dedicated to Dmitra (located in the middle of the island’s cultivated fields), sister of Zeus, goddess of agriculture and fertility.
You can also visit the village of Vivlos, famous for its three windmills, or choose to visit Filoti, a very interesting and picturesque small village.
If you prefer to walk along the beaches, these are a great option on the island, as you don’t have to go far from the city to find them, huge and not crowded with tourists. We suggest visiting Pyrgaki, Aliko, Hawaii Beach or Plaka, among others.

Day 5: Naxos – Aegean Sea – Santorini.
Stop At: Naxos, Naxos, Cyclades, South Aegean
After breakfast, one of our vehicles will pick you up at the agreed time to take you to the port of Naxos, where you will sail the sea towards your next destination.
The island that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, Santorini. Estimated transfer time is usually 3.5 hours.
Enjoy the arrival at the island, it is fascinating and it is the ideal time to photograph the town of Fira, with its white houses on the cliff overlooking the volcano.

Upon arrival on the island, one of our Spanish-speaking representatives will be waiting to welcome you and take you to the hotel and explain a little more about this picturesque island.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy and to continue strolling through its narrow streets.

Day 6: Santorini – Free time
Stop At: Santorini, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
Star your day with breakfast, on this day you have free time on this magical island considered by many the lost continent of Atlantis to discover it at your own pace.
The name of the island is the deformation of the name given to it in the Middle Ages by Venetian merchants. They called it Saint Irene, because she was the patron saint of the island. In 1576 Santorini became part of the Duchy of Naxos, until the Turkish conquest of Piyale Pasha.
If you wish you can add any of the additional excursions available in Santorini according to your travel date (see the Extras section).

Day 7: Santorini – Athens
Stop At: Santorini, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
At the appointed time, our staff will transfer you to Santorini airport, where you will board your domestic flight (including 15 kilos of checked baggage) to Athens.

Once you arrive at the Athens airport we will be able to connect you with your international flight, which should depart after 2 PM.
