Hatzidakis Winery is open throughout the year.! Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, anytime you come to Santorini, it would be our pleasure to welcome you! Our trained staff is always ready to show you around the winery upon request. The tour usually begins from the cave where the stainless steel wine tanks are and finish in the barrel area, where Vinsanto (Wine naturally sweet) has been aging for more than 14 years!
In the cave of wine aging barrels, there are several monastery tables and benches where guests have the opportunity to sit and enjoy 6 different wines from our winery. Each wine is presented in the most analytical way by our employees. The wines are accompanied by Naxos Graviera Cheese and barley bread.
Our visitors will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the grape varieties of Santorini, its wines, the microclimate of the island, and the rare pruning and organic farming that we apply to all the vineyards we cultivate.
The tour includes the visit, the private guided brewery tour and a full culinary experience of beer tastings of 6 beers paired with a 5-stages palate-pleasing degustation menu.
The guided tour is performed by our expert guides who take the guests around the facilities, letting them take photos and explaining to them about the different kinds of machinery that they can see from our taproom inside the production area as well as about how our beers are produced. Following this private tour, the guests sit down at a reserved area where they can enjoy the beer tastings combined with an amazing palate-pleasing food pairing of degustation menu prepared by our chef, during which we offer information regarding the quality specifications and the ingredients of its beer served, aligned with each food flavor of the 5-stages degustation menu.
