Rethymnon Trip Overview
All our guests, who like to enjoy wine and local music, are invited to join an unforgettable folklore night in the Cretan mountain village Axos.
The charming and quiet traditional village is situated on an altitude of nearly 600m, between winding hills, not far from the northern coast of Crete with its resorts and gives us a good example of traditional Cretan life and culture. You can walk through the village, get to know some of the local people, study their daily habits.
In the evening you will enjoy local cuisine and the taste and aroma of home-made Cretan wine. Throughout the evening authentic folk dancers in traditional costumes will show their skills accompanied by the lyre, lute and bouzouki. Enjoy dances from different parts of Crete as well as from mainland Greece and try to do learn a few steps, too!
