DEMETER’S TEMPLE (SANGRI): In a great location, the restored Temple of goddess Demeter1
DAMALAS: Visit the restored, still operating old olive oil press and also a traditional pottery workshop.
HALKI: Coffee break at the picturesque village.
PANAGIA DROSIANI: One of the oldest churches in the Balkans.
APIRANTHOS: The “marble village” is ideal to stroll and take photos in the marble paved alleys. The

APOLLONAS: Last stop at the fishermen’s village of Apollonas, the northernmost beach of the island. An
alternative for Guests’ lunch, if they opt for fresh fish and seafood instead of Apiranthos “rosto”. Here
is a swimming opportunity. Finally we visit the unfinished 11m Kouros statue (6th c.BC) and follow the
fascinating northern east coast back to the town, with a great overview of the Aghia tower.

DAMALAS: Visit the restored, still operating old olive oil press and also a traditional pottery workshop.
HALKI: Coffee break at the picturesque village with the Kitron distillery (est. 1896). “Tasting session” and
free time for wandering in the narrow streets of the village and shopping at the beautiful shops.
Note: Every Tuesday Demeter’s temple archeological site is closed for the public and we visit the
Adissarou springs with the 5.000 years old olive tree and the Bazeos tower instead.
