This tour of Naxos, takes you on a journey throughout the islands charming villages. Stop at beautiful ancient temples and archeological sites on the way to a village way up on the mountain. You will visit many villages, each with its own story and unique contributions to the island of Naxos.

We visit the unfinished Kouros Colossal archaic statue, known also as Apollo, that has been (sleeping) in a garden for centuries and learn about the dramatic story of its discovery and wonder at early Greek sculpture.

Making our way back south our final stop for the day is in yet another part of the island blessed with fertile soil, Eggares there we vitit the villages traditional 19th centry olive press and gain precious insight into practices and a way of life that now belongs to the past now long gone.
