• Gythio is the capital town of the area. A lively coastal city, built amphitheatrically with many cafes and restaurants. Gythion was the place that Helen and Paris of Troy spend the night leaving Sparta and traveling to Troy.
• Areopoli is a little town known as the place in which the Greek Revolution started. Walk along the cobbled streets and admire the stone houses and towers.
• Gerolimenas, a picturesque and peaceful little port which once used to be pirates base now ready to welcome visitors, looking for peace and quiet.
• In the heart of Laconian Mani the peaceful village of Vatheia which was restored the last years, resists to the passage of time, offering a journey to the past.
