Mikonos Trip Overview
An active food blogger and member of the Mykonos Gastronomic Club, Angelina is passionate about sharing forgotten Greek and Myconian recipes featuring locally produced and seasonal ingredients. During your hands-on cooking lesson Angelina will teach you how to handle filo dough to prepare savory and sweet dishes like feta parcels with honey and sesame (or spanakopita!) and the easiest baklava. She will also show you how to prepare a main or salad as well as a greek meze table that includes local cheese, taramosalata and other tasty bites.
As you learn to cook with a small ouzo in hand (indoors or outdoors), Angelina will help you understand Cycladic island gastronomy. Angelina focuses on Mykonian produce and seafood caught off the island’s shores. Your meal will include additional dishes that Angelina has prepared in advance. Enjoy, over wine, an authentic home-cooked Greek menu that includes meze, Greek salad, a main of whole fish, lamb or moussaka with vegetable sides and dessert!
