Exploring the secrets of the northwest coastline of Greece, with the eco-friendly way of sea kayaking and training too. Starting from Lichnos beach, with our certified guides, visiting caves and beaches with crystal waters, while entering Acheron river we enjoy the cool water, the shadow of the trees and the tweets of birds.
Itinerary
The activity starts from the meeting point. Once we get to know each other,we ‘ll be informed about our safety at sea, the conditions we will encounter, how to move properly and safely with the kayaks, the length of the route which is around 12nm, as well as the stops we will make. Then we put our things in dry bags, put on our life jackets and we all start together. We follow the left coastline where we will enter the first cave and will head to Agios Giannakis beach, where we can make our first stop for rest. Then we pass to the opposite side of the bay where are in the big cave of the area is located. Continuing to Ammoudia beach where we have our second stop, we can enjoy our swim, a nut snack which is provided along with a 0.5 lt bottle. water. After resting and before starting for our return to Lichnos beach, we enter the river Acheron from its estuary and cross it for about 2 nm enjoying the coolness of the water, the shade of the trees and the tweeting of the birds.
