The white town of Lindos is reached after a drive along the south coast, which offers different landscapes with varied nature and insight into the island life. The car-free old town of Lindos is as you know it from postcard: white painted houses, small taverns, narrow streets, plants in pots on the stairs. Ideal for roaming and strolling through the souvenir shops. The spectacular location by the sea and the view of the bay and the Acropolis give the town additional elegance.

Let yourself be taken back to medieval times with a walk through the streets of the old town. At the Grand Master’s Palace, the hostels of knights of seven different nationalities in the famous knight’s street, the Crusader Hospital and the Archaeological Museum with finds from Kamiros you will find your way. All buildings were built by the crusaders of the Knights of Jerusalem in the 12th century.
