Itinerary
Day 1: Syrrako, Kalarrites villages
Stop At: Kouiassa Pouliana Path, Kalarites Greece
Trekking route Syrrako – Kalarites in the gorge of Chrousia.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Kalarrites 440 01, Greece
Excellent tailors, builders, merchants, and silver smiths, come from Kalarites, which together with Syrrako are traditional settlements and tourist resorts of the mountainous Tzoumerka. Natural beauty is unique.

Stop At: Sirakon, Sirakon, North Tzoumerka, Ioannina Region, Epirus
Syrrako and Kalarites are one of the most famous villages of Tzoumerka, ideal for mountain tourism. These are stone settlements, with unique nature, that enchant visitors. When the French consul in Ioannina, Pouqueville, visited Syrrako and Kalarites, in the 19th century, he was impressed.
Ali Pasha had chosen as a resort and had, for this reason, opened a road from Ioannina.

Stop At: Holy Kipinas Monastery, North Tzoumerka 440 01, Greece
The impressive monastery with its wild beauty and quirky architecture is built on almost the middle of a huge rock on the northeast side of the Gorge of Arachthon River and is admired to build over vertical rocks.
Access is made from a small path, carved into the rock, and continues with a small hanging wooden bridge, leading to the monastery. The wooden bridge is mobile and the monks climbed it with leverage, so that the monastery becomes inaccessible to the bandits, as a 4-metre gap is created on the cliff when it rises.

Stop At: Anemotrypa Cave, Pramanta, North Tzoumerka 440 01 Greece
The cave has three levels. The highest and oldest has collapsed in the past and some parts of it are preserved. The middle level is what has been exploited. The third level an underground river, which is seen at the end of the path, just before creating a waterfall 2 meters, 10 meters below the path. The water of the river is reappearing at a fountain located in the ravine, 25 meters below the entrance of the cave.

Day 2: Otter path
Stop At: Frasta, Frasta, Central Tzoumerka, Arta Region, Epirus
The historic bridge of “Plaka” built in 1866, was considered the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans, with opening chambers 40 meters, height 19 meters and opening at the top 3.2 meters
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Arachthos Potamos, Greece
We walk to Otter path. The trail starts from the bridge “Plaka” and ends at the bridge “Tzaris”.
We walk on the steep banks of the river “Arachthos” which like huge stone walls end up in the river.
Duration: 4 hours
