We will stop for the second photo of the day in order to enjoy the breathtaking view, if we are lucky we’ll see live the Cretan vulture that often is spotted in flocks in these mountains.
On the foot of Dikti Mountains and drive through various traditional villages on our way to Kastelli, where on the flowering terrace of a local tavern we will enjoy a delicious stone-oven cooked lunch.
An important Minoan site, and get informed about its history through the years from our guides.
The last part of our route drives us all the way to the North Cretan Sea, at a sandy beach where we will get the chance to swim or enjoy a drink at the beach bar.
