In a traditional village, you will experience the traditional architecture of Crete today, explore some of the most ancient professions of the island still practiced in the most authentic areas of Crete, you will find out about the orthodox religion and church architecture and taste unique Cretan traditional products.

A cooking lesson at a local’s house will follow. You will prepare and cook yourselves several traditional dishes and you will find out all about the Cretan traditional Cuisine. You will then be hosted at the local’s house for lunch on a 3 Course meal, based on organic products of their own production.

• Cretan Local Starters – Dakos bread with fresh tomatoes and cheese- Zatziki yogurt with cucumber and garlic- Cretan Salad- Fava yellow pies- Snails fried in olive oil.
• Cretan Traditional Main Course – Lamb, Pork and Chicken slowly cooked in a traditional way with potatoes in the wood oven. Stuffed Vegetables with rice and herbs.
• Local Seasonal Desert – Local pies or homemade pastries with honey, local yogurt, fruits and local “raki” liquor produced by distillation of grapes.
