This tour is unique because, through the personal and emotional story of Ted D’Auvergne, who, leaving his hometown, left half a beer to drink once he returned— a beer he never drank because he fell at the front and was buried in Souda Bay War Cemetery—we visit all the historical sites where the Battle of Crete took place.
