Online Souvlaki DIY Cooking Class

Athina Trip Overview

The souvlaki is the best-known Greek food, a word that invokes Greece as much as the Acropolis, the Parthenon, retsina and ouzo. For those of you who haven’t been introduced to it yet, we’ll describe the souvlaki and give you an appetite for making your own at home.

Souvlaki is fast food. Souvlaki is small cubes of pork threaded on a small wooden skewer “souvla”, also known as a “Kalamaki”.

You’ll be welcomed into our house virtually, we will teach you how to make and grill traditional pork or chicken skewers, how to make tzatziki with Greek yoghurt and how to choose and chop fresh vegetables to stuff your pita bread and wrap it.

You will receive a list of the ingredients that you have to buy before our meeting.
Vegetarian options are available.
