Vouliagmeni lake swim-Ancient Silver Mines-Poseidon’s Temple tour

Tour starts with your driver picking you up at your doorstep and the most scenic coastal driving route in Greece begins, the famous Athenian riviera, all the way to Sounion, where the majestic temple of Poseidon’s is and where the ancient silver mines where. One hour drive where you will see islands, a lake, the blue Aegean sea, beautiful landscape and hear stories of Greek history and mythology.

For some this is the oldest ever ancient Greek theater built around 600BCE. An interesting shape not the dominant amphitheatrical shape. Amazing sea view of the island of Makronisos a former excile island.

Now pass by from the cute little port of Lavrion and the modern city. An old former industrial port. Stop for lunch or dinner can be arranged here if desired. Otherwhise 10 minutes away close to the temple of Poseidon. Which is the next and stop before heading back to Athens.
