You private tour then leaves the city behind for an hour of beautiful coastal scenery past some of Athens most prestigious districts & heads along beautiful cliff line views high above the sea until we see on the farthest point of the Attica peninsula the sight of one of the ancient world’s most important and impressive sites, the Temple of Poseidon.
Perched on the sheer cliff edge with vast open views, the temple forms a historical, cultural, and awe-inspiring experience. Take the time you need inside the site to enjoy the magnificent sea views extending to the islands of Kea and the Peloponnese on a clear day and a stop at a nearby picture-postcard beach for lunch (in season). On-site is also a small gift shop & cafe with view to the sea where you can take refreshments.
