You have the chance to admire the magnificent panorama of the city from Lycabetus hill at 745 ft. (277 m). Lycabettus stands high above Athens, commanding a clear view across the Attica basin and the Aegean.

Stop At: Acropolis, Via Dionysiou Areopagitou Str., Athens 105 58 Greece
UNESCO calls it the symbol of World Heritage.It’ s the symbol of democracy and Greek civilization. It’s the site of four of the greatest masterpieces of classical Greek art – the Parthenon (former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the goddess Athena) , the Propylaea (the monumental gateway to the Acropolis), the Erechtheum (is an ancient Greek temple on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens which was dedicated to both Athena and Poseidon) and the Temple of Athena Nike.

Mars or Areopagus Hill: Upon exit from the sacred hill of Acropolis, you walk up the steep Areios Pagos rock (there are stairs )just as Apostle Paul did and preached Christ’s word for the first time in Greece.
From the top of the rock, you can see the Acropolis and a panoramic view of Athens.

Continuing our Athens Tour you will admire the gigantic Temple of Olympian Zeus and Adrian’s Arch.
The Temple was designed to be the biggest temple in ancient time.

Panathenaic or Kallimarmaro Stadium is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
The Stadium hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 and today is used as the final point of Athens Authentic Marathon.

You will see the impressive shift change of the traditionally dressed guards (evzones) in front of the Greek parliament and the Marble Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

From Hellenic Parliament, you will visit the Athens Trilogy, the Academy of Athens, the University and the National Library, wonderful neoclassical buildings on one of the most popular Athenian Streets.

Stop At: Ancient Agora of Athens, Adrianou 24, Athens 105 55 Greece
In the heyday of ancient Athenian culture and power (roughly 500 B.C.E. to the mid-300s B.C.E.), the agora was the centre of all aspects of public life.
It was the centre of economic life and served as a bustling marketplace. The most important buildings are Stoa of Attalos, a reconstruction of the ancient building, completed in 1956 by the American School of Classical Studies and the Temple of Hephaestus, commissioned by Pericles and completed in 415 BC.

Acropolis Museum was built to house every artefact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. More than 4.250 objects are exhibited over an area of 14.000 square meters.

Stop At: Plaka, Plaka, Athens, Attica
If there is time left, you will have an hour of free time in the ancient neighbourhood of Athens close to Acropolis, named Plaka.
Plaka is full of people, music, typical restaurants “tavernas”, beautiful houses, cosy cafes and little shops with souvenirs.
You will visit Anafiotika, a small area in Plaka that reminds you of a Cycladic island.
Afterwards, we will drop you off at your residence or at the airport.
