What makes Argo Cultural Arts and Tastings Private Tour a unique experience ?
We depart Athens in the Morning and continue on the Scenic drive along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal Bridge, (80m high and 6km long), which connects the Aegean Sea to the Ionian Sea (short stop).
We continue through to the hinterland of Epidavros.
Visit the one of the most Popular Olive Oil Domains for a Tour & Tasting. The Domain is an extroverted family business ofdealing with production and standardization of extra virgin olive oil based in Lygourio, next to the Ancient Theater of Epidavros.
We then continue to visit the Sanctuary of Asklepios, the most brilliant centre of healing in the ancient world and the theatre (4th Century BC) one of the most perfect and the best preserved of the ancient Greek theatres.
Continue to Nafplio through the fertile plain of Argolis. The picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress was the first capital of Greece.
After lunch (in Nafplio) we savour a small boat trip to the Bourtzi Fortress. The Venetians built the small fortress Bourtzi, located in the Argolic gulf and close to Nafplio, in 1471. Bourtzi was originally part of the city’s defenses, and thick chains ran from the castle to the mainland to prevent enemy ships from docking.
Domaine Skouras is located in the Northeastern Peloponnese, in Argolida, close to the provinces of Corinthia and Arcadia, just a few kilometres from Nafplion, in the village of Malandreni.
Situated among vineyards, the winery is an ultra-modern winemaking facility, with an elegant Greek architecture, designed to ensure:
– proper and thorough procedures of the highest standards in all aspects of wine production and bottling
– a first class experience for visitors seeking education, entertainment, initiation to wine or hospitality.
