Athens Trip Overview
During this tour, you will have the great opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside of Greece, combined with some of the most important historical treasures in the world.
Departing from Athens we will drive through the national road, after a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys, we will visit the ancient city of Delphi, visit the oracle, navel & the center of the world. . and the local museum. Finally, we will visit the modern village of Delphi and we will have lunch at a scenic traditional tavern. Then we will depart for Kalambaka where we will spend the night.
The next morning we will visit four out of six breathtaking Meteora Monasteries (Some of the monasteries are closed specific dates).
After visiting the monasteries, we will return back to Athens.
On the way back we will do a stop at the beautiful village of Kamena Vourla for lunch.

Day 1: We visit the archaeological site in Delphi and spend the night in Kalambaka! On the way, we will stop at Thermopylae!

The Archaeological Museum of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece, exhibits the history of the Delphic sanctuary, site of the most famous ancient Greek oracle.

Stop At: Thermopylae, Thermopylae, Phthiotis Region, Central Greece
The exact location where one of the most important Battles in Worlds history, took place. The Location where the 300 Spartans and King Leonidas fell. You will learn the Full Story of this Battle, we will visit the information center for a coffee and we will visit the Monument of King Leonidas.

One of the most beautiful mountain villages in Greece. We are going to stop for an amazing Panoramic picture.

The second biggest Monastery offering breathtaking views.

Stop At: St. Stephen’s Monastery, Kalabaka 422 00, Greece
One of the most beautiful monasteries of Meteora with Nuns and the easiest access.
