Stop At: Theater of Dionysus, Mitseon 25, Athens 105 58 Greece

The Theatre of Dionysus is regarded as the first sample of Greek theatres and the birthplace of the Greek drama. It was built into a natural hallow at the southern slopes of the Acropolis and it is the first theater in the world. This ancient theater was dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine making and ecstasy, whose festivals was the driving force behind the development of Greek theater. Probably established in the late 6th century, the theater has been reconstructed many times since then.

Stop At: National Archaeological Museum, Patision 44, Athens 106 82 Greece

We will stop to make photos near museum. The National Archaeological Museum in Athens houses some of the most important artifacts from a variety of archaeological locations around Greece from prehistory to late antiquity. It is considered one of the greatest museums in the world and contains the richest collection of artifacts from Greek antiquity worldwide.

Stop At: Herod Atticus Odeon, Dionissiou Areopagitou, Athens Greece

The Odeon of Herodes Atticus – known as the “Herodeon” – is located on the southern slopes of the Acropolis, on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Entry to the Odeon is from the pedestrianised Dionyssiou Areopagitou Street, a walkway linking Athens’ main archaeological sites. The venue is easily accessible due to its location in the heart of the city.

We will stop in the romantic hill to make some photos with view in Acropolis and the hill of Filopappou and we will see all Athens from up. Also we can see the best sunset in town!

The Temple of Hephaestus is the best preserved ancient temple in Greece. It was dedicated to Hephaestus, the ancient god of fire and Athena, goddess of pottery and crafts. According to the archeologists, the temple was built around 450 B.C. at the western edge of the city, on top of Agoreos Koronos hill, and it is a classic example of Dorian architecture. The temple was designed by Iktinus, one of the talented architects who also worked on Parthenon, However, many other craftsmen worked at this fantastic temple.
