Itinerary

Day 1: Athens – Delphi – Meteora.

Stop At: Castalian Spring, Delphi 330 54, Greece
Pick you up from your Hotel and about 3 hours later we will arrive at Delphi area. Along the way, you will see the plain of Beotia, an agricultural center and you will also pass by the city of Theva, the birthplace of King Oedipus. Continuing we will visit Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle

Stop At: Arachova, Arachova, Boeotia Region, Central Greece
We will have a stop at the picturesque village of Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.

Stop At: Kalambaka, Kalambaka, Trikala Region, Thessaly
You will reach at Kalambaka late in the afternoon and will check in at your hotel. Free time for yourselves. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 2: Meteora – Athens

Stop At: Meteora, Kastraki, Kalambaka 422 00 Greece
After your breakfast, we leave from the hotel and visit nearby Meteora, for a tour of the cliff-top monasteries and see two different Byzantine monasteries built on top of rock towers and providing fantastic views over the plain. Meteora is included on the UNESCO world heritage monument list. The monasteries are perched on top of towers of sandstone, which for centuries provided totally inaccessible retreats for the monks

Stop At: Thermopylae, Thermopylae, Phthiotis Region, Central Greece
Return to Athens passing from Thermopyles where there is the statue of Leonidas (short stop for photos) as a memorial of the battle of the 300 Spartans against thousands of Persian soldiers of the Persian Empire

Day 3: Day cruise to Saronic islands

Stop At: Aegina Town, Aegina Town, Aegina, Saronic Gulf Islands, Attica
Stroll the narrow streets to see the traditional houses with small courtyards filled with trees and flowers, traditional shops and taverns, the narrow-paved alleys between mansions, Churches with blue domes and popular art shops. It is worth to visit the local boats shops which have been transformed into floating grocery stores and don’t forget to buy the famous peanuts from Aegina’s unique peanut variety.

Hydra: is one of the most romantic destinations in Greece, built on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf. Traditional stone mansions, narrow cobblestoned streets, secluded squares and above all the banning of cars and the use of around 500 donkeys as means of public transportation, explain the reason why Hydra preserved its distinctive atmosphere through the passage of time. Walk along the waterfront, the heart of the town, you encounter monuments, churches, canons, museums, old mansions, statues of famous heroes, shops and cafes

Poros: walk among the neoclassical buildings and visit the famous clock tower that measures the good times! The town of Poros is built in the shape of an amphitheater over two hills.
