Itinerary

Day 1: Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Nafplio town, Epidaurus

Stop At: Corinth Canal, Isthmia, Loutraki 201 00 Greece

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos), Argous 105 Ancient Korinthos village, Corinth 200 07 Greece
Ancient Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnese to the mainland of Greece, roughly halfway between Athens and Sparta.
For Christians, Corinth is well known from the two letters of Saint Paul in the New Testament, First and Second Corinthians.

Stop At: Archaeological Site Mycenae, Mycenae 21200 Greece
Mycenae is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to some of Greece’s most famous ancient ruins. Wander around the archaeological site and accompanying museum.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Nafplio, Nafplio, Argolis Region, Peloponnese
Nafplio town, the first capital of Greece, is famous for its historic architecture. Visit the famous Venetian fortress of Palamidi in Nafplio and optionally, walk down the 999 steps enjoying the most amazing views. Walkthrough the beautiful narrow streets of the old town.

Stop At: The Great Theatre of Epidaurus, Ethniki Odos Isthmou Archaias Epidavrou, Epidavros 210 52 Greece
Epidaurus, another Unesco World Heritage Site, is home to an ancient, beautifully preserved theater. The oldest theater with amazing acoustics.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Palamidi Castle, Eikostis Pemptis Martiou, Nafplio 211 00 Greece
Walk through the Venetian castle and then (optionally) down the 999 steps which take you to the old town of Nafplio enjoying amazing views!
Duration: 45 minutes

Day 2: Ancient Olympia site & museum (plus Rion Bridge and Galaxidi town)

Stop At: Archaeological Site of Olympia, Archea Olympia, Olympia 27065 Greece
Olympia hosted the original Olympic Games, founded in the 8th century B.C. Its extensive ruins include athletic training areas, a stadium, and temples dedicated to the gods Hera and Zeus.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Archaeological Museum of Olympia, Archaia Olympia, Olympia 27 065 Greece
You will also visit the world-famous Olympia museum and get the chance to see some unbelievable sculptures such as the sculpted decoration of the marble temple of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the famous Hermes carved by the ancient Greek sculptor Praxiteles.

Stop At: Rio-Antirrio Bridge (Charilaos Trikoupis), Gefira Charilaos Trikoupis, Antirrio Greece
We cross the biggest suspended bridge in the world (Rion Bridge) to quickly make a coffee stop at Nafpaktos. A beautiful seaside small town, where we will have the option to stress our legs next to the water and the Venetian Castle, before arriving to Delphi.

Stop At: Galaxidi, Galaxidi, Delphi, Phocis Region, Central Greece
The most beautiful coastline town near Delphi.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Delphi, Delphi, Phocis Region, Central Greece
Arrive at Delphi to overnight at a surprise location away from the tourist traps of the area and perfect to enjoy a great evening. Still, ready for exploring Delphi the next morning after a great breakfast!
Duration: 15 minutes

Day 3: Delphi & Hosios Loukas UNESCO Monastery

Stop At: Delphi Archaeological Museum, Delphi 330 54, Greece
The sanctuary of Delphi, where the oracle of Apollo spoke, was the site of the omphalos, the ‘navel of the world’.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Delphi Archaeological Museum, Ethniki Odos Amfissas – Livadias, Delphi 330 54 Greece
The Archaeological Museum of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece, exhibits the history of the Delphic sanctuary, site of the most famous ancient Greek oracle.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Athena Pronaia Temple, Delphi 330 54, Greece
This is the site that 95% of visitors and tour agencies skip! At the same time, it is the first photo that you will always see if you google “Delphi”. Not to miss!
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Arachova, Arachova, Boeotia Region, Central Greece
Arachova Village is a favorite destination for passionate ski lovers and celebrities or just first-time visitors who wish to relax in a dreamy mountainous setting. A breathtaking mountainous landscape ideal to stop for pictures and lunch!

Stop At: Monastery of Hosios Loukas, Distomo 32005 Greece
Hosios Loukas is a historic walled monastery situated near the town of Distomo, in Boeotia, Greece. It is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art, and has been listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Syntagma Square, Plateia Syntagmatos, Athina, Greece
Back to Athens and drop off right at your hotel.
