Our first stop is Acropolis (visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens)
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Acropolis Museum, Dionysiou Areopagitou 15, Athens 117 42 Greece
Then we continue the tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysus Theater, in order to visit the ACROPOLIS museum. There you will admire the artifacts and sculptures originating from the numerous Acropolis buildings such as the Erechtheum, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea as well as from the Roman and early Christian Athens. As the museum is built over an extensive archaeological site, you will be able to see the excavations beneath through a transparent glass floor.

Proceeding, we will visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus

Stop At: Panathenaic Stadium, Vassileos Konstantinou Avenue opposite the statue of Myron Discobolus, Athens 116 35 Greece
Our next stop is the Panathinaiko Stadium where the first olympic games of modern times took place in 1896, it is the only stadium built out of white marble

Stop At: Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Leoforos Vasilissis Amalias Syntagma Square, Athens 100 28 Greece
We continue at the greek parliament and the tomb of the unknown soldier with the changing of the guards.

We have a stop at the old city plaka and the monastiraki area where you can have your lunch in the picturesque streets and the greek tavernas (or you can choose to have lunch at a sea side tavern on our way to cape sounio)

After reaching our destination “Cape sounion” you will have the chance to admire the ancient greek Temple of Poseidon with a breathtaking backround , a sunset over the aegean sea!
You have 1 hour to enjoy the sunset and the ancient greek temple of poseidon or have a drink at the caffeteria and then we head back to your hotel .
